Who we are

StageHopper is a guide to live music in Athens. Data controller: Christos S. Moschofidis. Contact: hello@stagehopper.gr.

Visitors: what we don't collect

No account is needed and we don't ask visitors for a name, email or phone number.

Location (“Near me”) is used only on your device to calculate distances and order results. It is never sent to or stored by us.

Favourites, language and display settings are stored only in your browser (local storage). Clear your browser data to remove them.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Booking via Viber: if you use it, we keep your name, mobile number, party size and the show, so the venue can recognise the request. Deleted automatically after 30 days. The conversation with the venue happens on Viber.

Statistics & technical data

We anonymously count taps on our buttons (e.g. call, directions, share) – no cookies and nothing that identifies you – so venues can see what the site brings them. Detailed counts are deleted automatically after about 3 months.

We use anonymous, cookie-free visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics).

If something breaks, an error report is sent automatically (Sentry, EU servers) with technical data (e.g. browser type, page). IP addresses are not stored and personal links are removed before sending.

To run and secure the site, our hosting providers temporarily log technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type).

The map is loaded from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address in order to deliver it.

Venues

When you sign up through “List your venue” we keep the venue name, phone, email, address, map position and area, plus what you fill in on your profile (type, music, photos, prices, description). Name, address, booking phone and profile are published on the site; the email is not.

While you type an address, the text is sent to Geoapify (and, as a fallback, Photon / OpenStreetMap) to show suggestions and the map position. If you tap “I'm at the venue”, your device location is used once to set the venue's pin.

For plans (Pro) and Featured days we keep the history of subscriptions, bookings, credits and payments (amount, date, method), to run the service and for tax purposes.

Purpose: publishing the programme, running your account and contacting you. Legal basis: our agreement (contract), your consent and legal tax obligations.

If a sign-up is not approved, its link stops working and the data is deleted on request. Shows stay in the history for up to 1 year and are then deleted automatically.

Where data is stored

Data is hosted by infrastructure providers in the European Union (Supabase for the database, Vercel for the website, Cloudflare for the domain and email). We never sell data or share it for advertising.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data at hello@stagehopper.gr. We reply within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
